They told me there was no attempt and I almost got scammed. ![]() I then called Amazon and changed password. I read it and it said only agree if you trust this company or number trying to access your phone so I backed out and hung up the phone and then uninstalled anydesk. He ignored me and said you really need to just click on accept so he sent it again. I did not click on it but asked him why I couldn't just call amazon to fix situation. AnyDesk scam became very popular, but youll never face AnyDesk PayPal scam or when AnyDesk app scams Amazon if youll stick to the basic principles of use. He then said that amazon was sending a security (something) and I would need to click on accept quickly or I would they would have to resend again. ![]() That doesnt mean they could have lifted all the saved files on your device at the Time it was running or installed. ![]() There shouldnt be any access after app is uninstalled. Anydesk gives you access to the whole phone while app is installed. ![]() There was a 9 digit code he told me to write down because I would need it later. Firstly good thing for spotting that it was a scam. My dumbass went as far as downloading the anydesk app and pluggin. I got a call today saying someone was trying to make an attempt to buy an iPhone on Amazon account for $900.
